Spring is on it's way but

We have had several large snow storms the last few days. After a rather easy winter, Mother Nature decided to help us not forget what winter is all about. The mares in the barn however are coming into heat and the horses are beginning to she some hair. Both these signs tell me that winter is winding down and spring is right around the corner.
Last years foal, Denlores Dueler6 is growing like a weed and getting sassy. He is going to require a little more education to understand that he cannot play with me like he would with another colt. I know he loves me but!!!!
Speaking of education, Denlore's Gaetano is in training at Meadowmere Stable. It looks like he will do very well as a western or carriage driving horse. He is still a colt and he is for sale so if you are looking for a nice horse to show at larger shows, this guy will do it. He is a very nice stallion but by removing a couple of items, he could become an outstanding gelding.

It's winter 2010!

With Facebook and Twitter, I have neglected this blog but I am back. The foal we had on the farm last May is doing wonderful. His name is Dueler6 and was named after Major General Robert E. Dueler.
This little guy is gonna be something special and you can follow his growth by checking in here from time to time to hear all about him.
