This is the weekend.

Well Denlores Gaetano has been out for a little training and after six weeks he is going well under saddle and has been driven three or four times. Mostly saddle work is what was done and we will continue working him here at home. We do think that he can become a very nice western pleasure horse and be competitive on the Morgan A circuit.
We are expecting nice weather this weekend so on Friday we bring Gaetano home and we will collect Storm on Saturday. We need to get a couple of ejaculates out of him to start off the season. I will keep you informed on how successful our breeding season will be. Come back and check this blog often.

Breeding Season

We want to thank you for visiting our web site and we hope you enjoyed our Morgans. If at any time your in Vermont please stop by and see us in person. We always like company and we love to talk horse.

Well the breeding season is here and we'll try this year to get our twenty two year old mare, Bo's Precious Gem in foal for a second time. We feel very lucky to have gotten a fantastic foal out of her last year but she would not show heat well with a foal by her side so we skipped covering her. That's not always good because as long as you keep breeding them, aged mares will get in foal easier breeding them right back. We will keep you informed right here as to how things are working out.

We also take in outside stallions for semen collection and shipping. Contact us at denlore3@denlore.com for fees and information.

Denlores Gaetano is at Meadowmere Farm getting an education. He is doing very well and it looks like he will make a very nice western pleasure show horse or carriage driving horse. We will let Josh make the final decision as to what he is best doing. His is still a stallion however he can be gelded at any time. I have kept him a stallion because of his wonderful disposition, his willingness to work along with the fact that he is very well put together.
He is for sale and you can contact his trainer Josh at Medowmere Farm in Vernon Vermont.
